FAQs
Do you have insurance?
I am fully insured to provide peace of mind to you and myself. I also have a clean DBS certificate.
Do you have any certifications?
I am CPD level 4 certified in Advanced First Aid for Puppies and Dogs and level 3 in both Canine Communication and Canine Behaviour (certificates can be seen under the certifications tab).
How will you transport my dog?
I have a van which is fitted with 4 secure dog crates, each accessible from front and back.
Where will my dog be walked?
I try to stay local to minimise the amount of travel time for your dogs. We explore Deardon Field, Mays Farm, Langley Mead and surrounding areas. On occasion, we may drive out a little further to explore new areas but your dog will always get their full hours exercise.
Will my dog be walked off lead?
If I have your written consent to do so, your dog will be walked off lead. However, if you'd prefer they stay on lead, then that's fine too.
Will you clean muddy paws?
Yes, I carry water and towels and will clean off and towel dry muddy paws.
Will we meet before the first walk?
After our initial contact, I will arrange to come and see you to meet your dog and discuss your requirements.
Do you offer solo walks?
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer solo walks as I will always have my own dog, Lilo, with me. However, I may be able to offer a smaller sized walk for just your dog and mine.
Do you walk all weathers?
We embrace all weathers, be it rain or snow. The health and safety of the dogs is my number one priority so the only time our walks may be affected would be due to extreme heat. In extremely high temperatures, we may need to change the time of our walk to earlier or later in the day and I will always seek out shaded walking spots for such times. If I need to go further afield to find suitable shady areas, then walk time may need to be reduced to 40 minutes.
What are your hours of work?
I will be offering daily walks between the hours of 9:30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend and Bank Holiday walks are available subject to my availability.
Do you offer home boarding?
I am a licensed boarder with Wokingham Council. Boarding will only be offered to my dog walking clients. This ensures that I have built a relationship and trust with your dog prior to boarding.
How is payment arranged?
I will send you an invoice at the end of every month and ask that this is paid via bank transfer within 5 days. Ad-hoc walks are invoiced on the day.
